These products have been very popular in Korea and have been sold in millions of units because it can be used for just about anything. Koreans even enjoy bottled beverages with Aloe Vera pieces floating in it. But if there’s one major thing Aloe Vera is universally known for it is known as a remedy to relieve and soothe sunburn.

The Face Shop’s Jeju Aloe Fresh Soothing Gel is formulated with 99% aloe barbadensis leaf extract from Jeju Island which soothes sunburns, rehydrates and replenishes the skin without leaving any sticky residue. It can be used for various purposes such as moisturizing, soothing, as a facial pack and as a after-sun care.

Tip 01:

Moisturizing Pack

After cleansing and applying toner, apply a generous layer to your face and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Afterwards, spread it out evenly throughout your neck and gently pat for absorption. You do not need to wash off with water.

Tip 02:

Moisturizer

Select your choice of oil and mix it with the aloe gel in a ratio of 1:3 (oil:aloe). Our recommended oil for the moisturizing solution is jojoba oil, argan oil, rosewater oil, coconut oil or vitamin E serum.

Tip 03:

Eye Patch

Place the Aloe gel tub in the fridge and leave it just long enough for the gel to provide a cooling effect. When it’s ready, soak a pair of cotton pad and place on the eye area.

Tip 04:

After Shave

For people who have sensitive skin, apply a thin layer of aloe gel on the shaven skin to reduce irritation, as well as for a cooling sensation.

Tip 05:

Sun Burn Remedy

Store the product inside the fridge. Apply a generous layer over the sub burnt area to relieve the sun damage. This will reduce inflammation, blistering and itchiness. It can be used just about anywhere (face, arms, shoulder, back, etc).

Tip 06:

Body Lotion

Select your choice of oil and mix it with the aloe gel in a ratio of 1:3 (oil:aloe). Our recommended body oil for the moisturizing solution is natural olive or avocado oil. This will help reduce stretch marks and premature wrinkling.

Tip 07:

Makeup Base

Mix together your choice of BB cream or foundation to achieve that glowy and dewy look.  Ratio can range anywhere between 1:1 or 2:1 depending on how much coverage you prefer.  The mixture will result a more whipped texture that would optimal for dehydrated and dry skin.

Tip 08:

Nail Essence

Apply on brittle and dry nails to for more healthy conditioned nails with vitality. Using before applying manicure or nail polish will result in more vivid colors.

Tip 09:

Hair Treatment

Aloe vera facilitates hair growth. Apply the aloe gel to the ends of your hair to treat split ends or massage it deep into your scalps to moisture both hair and scalp. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse with water.

Tip 10:

Hair Gel

Use aloe as hair gel to give your hair some shine and keeping it in place, while it is moisturizing (all at once).
